Frequently Asked Questions
The location of your build plays a big role in how your roof trusses are designed. Things like snow loads, wind conditions, and local building codes can vary from one area to another. By knowing exactly where your project is, we can design trusses that meet—and often exceed—those requirements, so you can feel confident your building is safe and built to last.
Depending on the depth of the joist and the type of load it needs to support, our engineered and custom-built floor joists can achieve up to 32 feet long. For the best results, we’ll design your floor system specifically for your project to make sure it performs exactly as needed.
Attic trusses are a great way to add extra living or storage space. In many cases, the usable room width is about half the total span of the truss.
For example, if your truss spans 24 feet, you can often expect around 12 feet of usable space. That said, we can adjust the design to better fit your needs depending on your roof style and layout.

Timelines can vary depending on the size of the project and how busy production is, but most orders are completed within a few weeks after the design is finalized.
We’ll always give you a clear timeline upfront so you can plan accordingly.

Our engineered roof trusses and floor joists are stronger, more stable, and quicker to install than traditional build methods. By fabricating our products in a controlled environment with only the highest quality materials, we are able to provide consistent quality made to fit your exact build dimensions. This saves both time and labour on-site, and ensures your project is build to last!
For local deliveries, your trusses will be delivered by truck, and depending on the size of the order, they’re usually unloaded using our specialized tipping/roller truss trailers. So make sure leave room on your site for us to drop off your product! Alternatively, if equipment like a forklift, zoom-boom, or crane are available on-site, our drivers can work with you or your team on-site to offload your order directly off the trailer.
We’ll coordinate all the details with you ahead of time to make sure everything goes smoothly on delivery day.
For orders overseas, we will coordinate with our trusted shipping partners to send your order via shipping container and delivery drivers in your local area.
